Harder to master is the evergreen style of the producers Tedder sees as models: Max Martin, Rick Rubin and T Bone Burnett. "It's super rare to stand a decade and have successful singles as a writer/producer," says Tedder, who in addition to fronting the pop-minded rock band OneRepublic has written and produced hits for Leona Lewis ("Bleeding Love"), ... Three of Ryan Tedder's songs are fucking amazing. Those songs in no particular order are 'Stop & Stare', 'Apologise' ('Apologize' for our American readers) and 'Bleeding Love', the literally quite good pop tune propelled to the top of the trans Atlantic hit parade by Leon A Lewis.

This isn't something you hear everyday about a pop/rock band, but OneRepublic is offering a cash reward for the safe return of a stolen....cello.

The band tweeted that on Sunday, during a show in Charlotte, North Carolina, someone stole their bass and cello player Brent Kutzle's instrument right off the stage. The tweet added, "We R offering a $1,000 reward. It's black/grey. Unconfirmed, -- the guy that took it is 5/'8" with blonde spikey hair - 30 years old. It is a RARE carbon fiber cello. B cool and help us."

The band continued with a series of tweets, saying, "We luv NC-Love this show & have made it 6 years w/ NO thefts-But this is just dumb as hell. Let's make CNN w/ the 1st Twitter ... Read more»
