This isn't something you hear everyday about a pop/rock band, but OneRepublic is offering a cash reward for the safe return of a stolen....cello.

The band tweeted that on Sunday, during a show in Charlotte, North Carolina, someone stole their bass and cello player Brent Kutzle's instrument right off the stage. The tweet added, "We R offering a $1,000 reward. It's black/grey. Unconfirmed, -- the guy that took it is 5/'8" with blonde spikey hair - 30 years old. It is a RARE carbon fiber cello. B cool and help us."

The band continued with a series of tweets, saying, "We luv NC-Love this show & have made it 6 years w/ NO thefts-But this is just dumb as hell. Let's make CNN w/ the 1st Twitter ... Read more»

And Tedder was surprised to learn that Elton was one of his biggest admirers.

In a series of posts on Twitter.com, Tedder writes, "did short gig last nite ... Read more»

-It is important to warm up your hips before a concert.
-Funnel Cake is King.
-The boys are going to Vegas this week to record the first song of their new record.
-We can expect that record next summer.
-Ryan Tedder (aka. songwriting genius) is spending the year focused 100% on One Republic and not co-writing with anyone else.

Those are all really important things. More than anything I wish I would have had my camera rolling when we were standing around talking about music, and how much the guys in One Republic care about their fans. I stood in tears as Ryan ... Read more»
